The leaf nodes represent species of non-flowering plants and primary algae from which a complete genome has been sequenced and published at least once. A mouse-over on the scientific name displays details about the publications (maximum of three publications for plants whose genome has been sequenced multiple times). Links within the popup window open websites to the genome publications (for all plants) and to the website of the plant on Plants of the World Online (available for vascular plants only).
